Hi. Today is my half birthday. I'm turning 7 1/2. And my dad & mom are making us a fence in the front yard. They started it about 2 weeks ago.

Also, there are a lot more things happening today, because today, EXACTLY, is the homeschool fair! And next friday is my last trackers class. On the last day we're going to say goodbye to our friends for the summer.

Last week, it was my....art show. In my art class, every year they have an art show. Everybody choses one piece to hang at a cafe that my teacher picked. My teacher chose one of the kids art pieces to put on a postcard to give out as a flyer for the show. My grandparents and three friends came to the art opening on a friday evening. It was......FUN!!!!

What I've Been Doing

i am sorry that i have not been on for a while.

i have been doing lots of things.

i have been doing stuff for connecting waters. connecting waters is my homeschool charter school. we have to do STAR testing at connecting waters. we did it last week. i have lots of friends that did it too. some of them were in my grade and i got to talk to them at break.

another thing i've been doing is making dolls for my cousins who live in israel. i made a doll for my younger cousin libi who is 2 years old. liris made a doll for libi's older sister, sivan. we gave them to our grandparents who went to israel to visit on the last day of march.

my dad had his birthday on april 4th. now he is 36. we made lemon cream cupcakes and i had the idea of putting them into the shape of a lemon. liris drew a green leaf on paper to put on top.

the reason we made lemon cupcakes is because my dad just did a fast called the master cleanse. he could only drink lemon juice with maple syrup and cayenne pepper for about 5 days.

oops i almost forgot i went sailing. it was better than a birthday party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we're here

we're in the new house. i like it now that its finished. my room has this thing in the closet, like a loft. you climb the bunk bed and get into it. i like to play up there. my sister and i were pretending we were trapped in a small room and the metal frame of the top bunk was laser beams that we had to get past. my friend Henry came over and we played up there.

there was something scary that my dad smelled at night. he smelled smoke in the house. he realized it was our next door neighbors. they made a fire in a garbage can.

my mom thought people could see inside the windows during the day. my dad said they couldn't and to prove it, he said, i'll take off my pants! But he didn't do it.

The hardest thing of my life

One day at my friend's house, I heard somebody say, "we're gonna have to move." I went outside and saw that it was my mom.

A couple days later, we ordered a big box that we could pack all our things in.

It was really hard, but one of the days, my friend Zack came over and I got to play with my friend Elina. We got to jump and play in the big box and climb.

It was getting a little sad, because i really liked my house.

My mom said to my grandma, that we needed to stay at her house for a little while until the new house got fixed.

The day we bought the house, we went there and spent the night. We had lots of fun. The next day was mothers day and we went to have breakfast in Alameda at Jim's. That was fun.

Then, a couple days later, on Friday, we went to my grandmothers house. My dad started to work on our new house.

Sometimes we got to go stay with him and help work.

The first morning at my Bubbe's house, we had pancakes for breakfast. We have stayed here a long time and the house isn't ready yet, but even though I'm sad because we're not living on the same block as my friends anymore, I'm happy that i still have my friends. We're only staying one more week at my grandma's house and there are some things that I want you to know about my new house. The first thing is that we're gonna have a secret hideout in my room. The other thing i want to tell you about is my house is really pretty and gonna be fun to live in. My backyard is really little, but I'm still gonna have some fun in it.

Meditating and Walking

My dad, my sister and me were meditating one night. We were meditating and walking. Then, we sat down in my dad's office and we exercised and then we started walking again. Then we walked and walked back and forth in the house in the dark.

Then he made us tea and we played with spanish flashcards. We went upstairs and went to sleep and my dad played video games on his iphone. We had a wonderful, wonderful night.

My Birthday Day

WE WENT TO SUSHI ON MY BIRTHDAY AND WE VISITED MY DAD’S JOB. AFTER WE VISITED MY DAD’S JOB, WE WENT TO MY HOUSE. WE PLAYED ON THE MIC AND THEN, MY AUNT RITA AND MY ABUELO FELIPE WENT TO SLEEP FOR A NAP.

A LITTLE WHILE LATER, MY BUBBE MARGIE AND MY GRANDPA JOE CAME TO MY HOUSE. MY DAD WENT TO WAKE UP MY ABUELO AND TITI. MY MOM MADE DINNER, AND WE ATE IT. WE HAD RICE AND BEANS AND CHICKEN. THEN WE ATE CUPCAKES! THEN WE CLEANED UP AND WENT TO BED. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!
